I'm Von Holbrook. Product, design, and engineering used to be three hires. Now it is me, and it moves faster than the team you were going to build.
A career across infrastructure, product, software consulting, and education, for the big companies and the small ones. Always the product person who could also build it and cared how it looked, which for years meant being slightly wrong for every job description. AI fixed that.
It also means I plan the handoff early. A product team is there for a season; the people who inherit the thing are there for good. So operations and training get designed alongside the software — not improvised the week after launch.
